Laptops vs. Descktops .. .the final solution

By mike00000000001

Here is my idea for a final solution to the desctop vs. laptop dilema. They need to invent a single CONVERTABLE computer. How can this be done?  Currently the laptops that exist are fast enough to do anything like playing games, paint, word processesing or even working with 3D software. They are fast enough. Laptops have caught up with the software.  That is, the expensive ones have. Suffice it to say that laptops can do everything you need a computer to do.  It just does it slower than the new Descktop towers out there. The problem is Descktops will always be faster. But when I look at how poorly PCs work because of windows vista . . . anyways.  The solution to the speed problem is  .. . .to have a single computer with a detachable laptop part that acts as a laptop when detached . . . but as a descktop when attached. Think of the attachment as a ram or speed extension. If this convertability can be achieved the size of the extension should not matter any more. This solution would affectively toss out the size issue. It would no longer be a problem.
